Campbell Scientific Canada Launches the Impressive New CCFC Field Camera

May 26, 2016, Edmonton, AB – They’re calling it ‘the most rugged camera ever made’. The wild, cold-conquering Canadians at Campbell Scientific Canada (CSC) have just put the finishing touches on their new camera dubbed the CCFC Field Camera. The camera is specifically designed for harsh environmental conditions and remote, unattended monitoring. CSC, nestled in north Edmonton, hopes the camera will revolutionize the monitoring and surveying industry with its advanced capabilities.

Features that make the CCFC Field Camera special:

  • In terms of ruggedness, there isn’t a camera in the world that outperforms it. It’s suited to a wide variety of applications including surveillance, flood forecasting, and road safety (RWIS)
  • You can collect photos and high-definition video (720p) almost anywhere on earth, including at night, thanks to built-in IR LEDs and a Night Mode setting
  • Wi-Fi feature enables configuration from a smartphone, tablet, or laptop
  • The all-new web interface makes configuration and media retrieval a breeze
  • 18x optical zoom lens with configurable auto zoom/focus presets
  • Wide operating temperature range, various power modes, and anodized aluminum environmental case makes it suitable for remote monitoring
  • Transmits media via FTP, Email, and PakBus or, stores media in the built in memory
