In the near future i am going to probably buy a used Vaisala FD12P sensor.
Is it possible to have it connected to the CR1000 and getting data from it?
I cant seem to find the wiring to the CR1000 and an example crbasic.

It is possible to connect a FD12P to a CR1000. It is either a RS232 or RS485 connection. RS232 can go direct to a comport on a CR1000. RS485 would require an adapter.
The output of such sensors is very configurable. You will have to program the logger to match up with how the output of the sensor is configured. Configuring the sensor to auto generate data messages will make the datalogger easier to program than using a polled mode.
