fdeclercq Aug 13, 2021 02:38 PM

Dear All, i have a problem to collect data in my loggernet software

since 10 years ago we collect data with loggernet on a fixed ip computer and received data from logger with dynamic ip and it's work well

due to an increase of security on our office we now work with staticip on the logger.

the problem i have, it work during my test and i received my data during 1 or 2 days and now i don't receive my data on loggernet . a connection with a direct cable show an ip on the logger.

when i wrote in a brower the ip address of my cr1000 i could saw the data, the problem is i can't collect them.

Does anybody have an idea for my data collection with loggernet? i precise i used a com 110 modem programmed with MDA

All help will be precious!

thanks in advance

regards

we need more info as right now it could be a lot of things..

How is the static IP assigned to the logger?
Did you set the IP in the logger (via DeviceConfig) or is it an IP address that is handed to the logger from the DHCP server that controls the LAN the logger is connected to?

How does the communication link between the logger and the Loggernet computer look like?
You mention a modem.
What devices/cables/etc. are between the logger and the computer? How does the network look like?
