What You’ll Work On

The Engineering Technician role provides technical and administrative assistance to the engineering group. This role also serves as an interface for outside groups to access support services from engineering. As part of this role, you will:

  • Assist with prototyping and testing.
  • Create and maintain fabrication and assembly drawings.
  • Create and manage bill of materials.
  • Create jigs, test procedures and programs.
  • Work closely with the Manufacturing Engineer.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Completion of related post-secondary education (for example: Electronics Engineering Technology Diploma).
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in electronics development, repair, or manufacturing Including:
    • The ability to read and update schematics and printed circuit board (PCB) layouts.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
