Can't see CPU and CRD in File Control

Giancarlo Tamburello May 2, 2017 08:23 AM

Dear CS support,

I am writing to you because I can't see anymore CPU and CRD directories (and stored files) by connecting via TCP/IP to 2 of 3 stations operating on the field (CR6 data loggers storing data in a 4 GB CRD). I have seen other topics in the forum and the problem seems to be related to saturation of the CPU memory. In fact if I try to send a new program I got this message:

Program file send failed:
The datalogger root directory is full

But I do not understand how it is possible since my programs occupy less than 10 KB in the CPU. I've read in the forum that I can format the CPU and resend the programs, this solution will not be easy since an operator must go into the "unfriendly" field where the stations are installed. Moreover this seems to be a temporary solution, what if the problem will show again? How can I avoid this issue in the future?
Thank you in advance for you kind help,

Best regards

Giancarlo
