I am wondering, what is the maximum of sensors that I can put on a single port SDI-12,whether on a CR1000 or in CR1000
From the CR1000 Manual:
SDI-12 is a 1200 baud protocol that supports many smart sensors. Each port requires one terminal and supports up to 16 individually addressed sensors.• Up to four ports configured from C terminals
Actually, there are 62 possible addresses. Some sensors only support the first 10 addresses.
Total cable length may limit the number of sensors on a channel.
