The Large Aperture Scintillometer (LAS) workshop, held November 4-5th, 2013, is a comprehensive 2-day workshop, in which the LAS MkII is examined and the data from a field comparison to Eddy Covariance instrumentation is reviewed. The workshop will also include a hands on component with the related equipment.
The workshop will include presentations and discussions by experts from both Kipp & Zonen and Campbell Scientific related to the LAS system and it’s comparison to Eddy Covariance systems.
Although we are able to offer the workshop at no charge, we would ask that you make allowances for travel and accommodations. We are happy to help with arrangements and recommendations, and further details in this regard will follow. Please note there are a limited number of openings available, and they will be filled on a first come first served basis.
A brief outline of the workshop agenda is listed below. For further details please download the complete agenda. Registration closes September 30, 2013.
