  • 5 or more years of experience in a Senior HR or Executive role
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, Social Sciences, or relevant work experience in related fields
  • Amazing soft skills related to understanding people, developing relationships and coaching staff
  • Experience with Ceridian Dayforce or similar time tracking programs
  • Experience with Certificate of Recognition (COR) and ACSA programs
  • Possessing the CHRP designation is an asset
  • Experienced in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PPT) at an Intermediate level or better
  • Someone who has a passion for helping others and ensuring team success
  • Friendly and outgoing
  • High level of emotional intelligence (EQ)

 

About The Role

Human Resources Scope

  • The scope of this role includes planning, organizing, directing, controlling and analyzing the operations of the Human Resources Services department
  • Oversee corporate culture initiatives including surveys, work-life balance, policies, and will be involved in the company’s social committee
  • Communicate HR policies and changes to staff, while ensuring the company is compliant with all relevant legislation
  • Management of the full-cycle recruitment process
  • Resource planning in cooperation with supervisors
  • Administration of the corporate performance review program

 

Health, Safety and Facilities Scope

  • Provide on-going support to the Maintenance & Safety Coordinator with continuous development and engagement in the corporate health and safety program
  • Collaborate with the Safety Coordinator to ensure HR policies and escalation procedures comply with all required safety regulations

 

Administration Scope

  • Supervise the Administrative Assistant to ensure the management of reception duties, timesheet tracking, contracting and services and any special projects as required
