General Description

The Pilot Tool (formerly sold as the CS615P) helps insertion of the CS616 in high density or rocky soils. The tool has rods of similar diameter and same spacing as the CS616 and can be driven into soil using force levels that might damage the CS616. The Pilot Tool is then removed and CS616 inserted into established holes. Best results are obtained when the Pilot Tool is used with Installation Tool.

The Installation Tool (formerly sold as the CS615G) is used for inserting CS616 probe into soil. Helps maintain proper spacing and parallel orientation of rods during insertion. Will reduce measurement errors by minimizing soil disturbance.
