General Description
The TCAV Type E (chromel-constantan) thermocouple probe parallels four thermo-couple junctions into one, 24-gauge wire. The probe (30 awg) averages 2 point temperature measurements of the top 6-8 cm of soil at each of two locations separated by up to 1 m (i.e., 2 junctions @ two depths). One differential analog input channel per probe required. A 50 ft lead length (TCAV-L50) is recommended.
