General Description

The SDMX50-SP is comprised of the SDMX50 circuit board, RF shield (front panel), and a small back panel that has mounting cutouts. A bracket for strain relief is also included. Both the multiplexer case and the strain relief bracket have drilled mounting holes on 1 in spacing. The unit can be attached to the backplate of a Campbell Scientific enclosure or customer-supplied enclosure. The multiplexer case is 5 x 9 in and 1 in thick. The SDMX50-SP requires 12 Vdc power and is controlled by the datalogger using SDM communication.

The SDMX50-SP is a 50 ohm, coaxial, 8:1 multiplexer with surge protection; 12 Vdc power is required. This multiplexer uses Campbell Scientific's SDM communications protocol and can be controlled via a datalogger or a computer running our TDR Support Software.
