General Description

The SC932C is recommended only for applications with space limitations or to replace existing SC932Cs. The SC932A is recommended for most applications.

The SC932C is a smaller jumperless version of the SC932 designed for short haul modem applications only. It supports two-way communication only. The SC932C is useful in applications where the customer wishes to connect an RS-232 modem to a datalogger. The datalogger powers the SC932C via the 5 V power supply on its Serial I/O port (CS I/O). The SC932C, in turn, will power the connected RS-232 modem from this source, if necessary.
