General Description

The Series 4a water quality instruments are designed to be used in fresh, salt or polluted water. The instruments measure multiple parameters simultaneously including: temperature, pH, ORP, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, depth, turbidity, total dissolved gas, ammonia, nitrate, chloride, and chlorophyll a.

The MS4A has four built-in ports. Upgrading is easy and you can add new sensors as needed. At 1.75in (4.4cm) in diameter, the MS4A is portable and fits down 2in ground water wells. Both units are available with battery packs and memory to use for long-term monitoring and profiling applications. Data can be downloaded to the Surveyor 4a, or directly to a PC without using proprietary software.

At the heart of the MS4A is superior sensor technology. Hydrolab's pH and ORP sensors come with a separate reference electrode, field replaceable in just seconds saving you time and money. Our dissolved oxygen sensor provides a continuous, steady state stream of data, and our conductivity sensor features graphite electrodes which will not corrode. Two-year warranties are standard for most sensors.
