Enclosure Humidity Indicator Card

General Description

The L6571 card provides a visual reference of humidity level inside the enclosure. Colored circles change color from blue to pink to indicate humidity levels of 30%, 40%, and 50% relative humidity.

Because the water vapor contained in the atmosphere will begin to affect the card once the enclosure is opened, the card should be inspected immediately after the enclosure is opened. Please note that when the enclosure is open and the circles turn pink, the card does not need to be replaced; the circles will turn blue again when the enclosure door is shut and the RH levels inside drop due to the activity of the enclosed desiccant.

Desiccant inside of the enclosure should be replaced when the relative humidity exceeds 35%. Desiccant packs may be ordered through Campbell Scientific (DSC 20/4 or DSC 50/2).
