General Description

The L15770 is a RAD Short Haul Modem Interface Kit designed for long-term installations that require two way communications (one-way communication capability is not supported; see SC932 for this capability). The L15770 Interface Kit consists of:

(1) SC932A Interface,
(1) L15751 9- to 25-pin interface, and
(1) L6282 mounting bracket.

Although the SRM-5A is compatible with the now retired SRM-6A, and the two can be used on either end of the same line, the L6282 bracket was designed to be compatible with the SRM-5A. The SC932(A or C) Interface is required to connect the modem to the datalogger. Surge protectors on both ends of the transmission line are strongly recommended.
