General Description

The HC-S3 Temperature and Relative Humidity Probe is a rugged, accurate probe manufactured by Rotronic Instrument Corp. and is ideal for long-term, unattended applications. The probe uses HygroClip technology to measure RH and a Pt100RTD to measure temperature. The probe connects directly to Campbell Scientific dataloggers such as the CR10X, CR23X, CR510, CR1000, or CR200 Series Dataloggers.

Each HygroClip probe is 100% interchangable and can be swapped in seconds without any loss of accuracy, eliminating the downtime typically required for the recalibration process. A radiation shield (Model 41003-X) should be used when the HC-S3 is exposed to sunlight.
