General Description

The CR9050E Analog Input module has 14 differential or 28 single-ended inputs for measuring voltages up to ±5 V. An on-board PRT provides a reference temperature for thermocouple measurements, while a heavy copper grounding bar and connectors combine with the case design to reduce temperature gradients for accurate thermocouple measurements. Resolution on the most sensitive range is 1.6 microvolts.

The CR9050E module is modified to accept CR9050EC Easy Connector Modules. The CR9050E typically remains in the CR9000X chassis while the CR9050EC typically remains connected to the sensors. This allows one CR9000X system to be moved from location to location and be quickly connected to the sensors on-site. The CR9050E includes one CR9050EC. Additional CR9050ECs are also available.
