General Description

The CR9032 CPU Module provides system control, processing, and communication to a PC via ethernet (10BaseT) or serial connection. The CR9032 is the primary component that separates a CR9000X system from the CR9000, which used the CR9031 CPU Module. The CR9032 CPU Module may be ordered as a separate item to upgrade a CR9000-series system to a CR9000X-series Measurement and Control System. The primary processor is a 32-bit, 180 MHz Hitachi SH-4. The module has 128 Mbytes of static SDRAM for program and data storage.
