General Description

The CS106 barometer provides a measurement range of 500 to 1100 millibars. A 12 V switching circuit is included in the sensor; a datalogger control port is used to control 12 Vdc power to the sensor, reducing power consumption.

Cabling – Datalogger to CS106:
A 2.5-foot cable for connecting the datalogger to the CS106 is provided; the cable length should be sufficient if the CS106 is enclosed in the same enclosure as the datalogger. If the sensor will be located in a separate enclosure, customers can purchase longer cable lengths on special order. (Strongly recommended when the datalogger will be located in tightly sealed enclosure as in some CR7 [ENC7F], CR9000, CR9000X installations).

Use in Enclosures:
The CS106 requires a desiccated, non-condensing environment; a Campbell Scientific enclosure is recommended. The CS106's housing includes a mounting bracket for attachment to the 1”-on-center hole grid of Campbell Scientific enclosures. Grommets and screws are provided to attach the flanges/bracket to the backplate of our enclosures.
