General Description

The 41303 RM Young 6-Plate Gill Radiation Shield is is a naturally aspirated 6-plate radiation shield. Its louvered construction allows air to pass freely through the shield thereby serving to keep the probe at or near ambient temperature. The shield's white color reflects solar radiation.

The 41303 may be used with a 107 or 107F air temperature sensor; it also can house a CS500 air temperature and relative humidity probe.

The 41303 mounts directly to the mast of one of our tripods. The 41303 offers improvements in both protection for the probe and aspiration of the probe versus its predecessor, the 41301-5.
