General Description

The Watermark 200 Campbell Scientific models 253 and 257) provides a convenient method of estimating soil water potential between 0 and -2 bars (typically wetter, or irrigated soils with a Campbell Scientific datalogger. The model 253 connects to our AM16/32 multiplexer. If a multiplexer is not needed, refer to our 257 probes.

The 253 and 257 Watermark probes estimate soil water potential. If agricultural practices allow, the sensor can be left in the soil all year, eliminating the need to remove the sensor during fallow periods.
